By signing this form you accept the invitation to participate as a presenter in the 2024 Midwest Solar Expo in Chicago, IL to be held from May 20, 2024 – May 22, 2024 (the “Conference”) and, in consideration of the invitation to present and the mutual covenants set forth herein (the receipt and sufficiency of which are acknowledged), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Oral, Visual, and/or Written Presentations:

1. I hereby grant to Midwest Solar Expo permission to distribute, copy, modify, publicly perform, display and record (whether by video, audio, or other means) my live presentation at the Conference (the “Presentation”). I acknowledge and agree that Midwest Solar Expo exclusively owns all rights to these recordings of the Presentation only.
2. I hereby retain ownership of and all copyrights in any visual, written, or recorded materials as provided by me to supplement my Presentation at the Conference (the “Supplemental Materials”). I grant to Midwest Solar Expo a non-exclusive, perpetual, fully-paid right and license to reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, and create derivative works from the Supplemental Materials.
3. I hereby represent and warrant that I am the sole author of the Presentation and the Supplemental Materials or, if not, that I have full power and authority to make this agreement having obtained valid consent of any copyright holder(s) in the Presentation, the Supplemental Materials, or any portions thereof owned by third parties. I agree to indemnify and hold Midwest Solar Expo harmless against any claims of infringement by third parties arising out of the use of the Presentation or the Supplemental Materials as set forth herein.
4. I acknowledge that there were no promises of any compensation (except as set forth in the keynote or master speaker contract signed by me, if any) for the use of the Presentation or the Supplemental Materials as described herein.
