Brian Ross, AICP, LEED GA, is a Vice President at the Great Plains Institute, working with state agencies, local government, and other stakeholders to create a clear and predictable regulatory pathway to renewable energy deployment. Over the last 30 years he has worked with dozens of local, regional, and state governments on climate and energy planning, policy and regulation. He led GPI’s Solar Energy Innovation Network project on solar+EV charging market opportunities. Brian published a national scan of EV zoning ordinances in 2019 and recently helped design an EV-ready communities best practices and certification program.
