Taylor Anderson, is a full time, registered, contractual lobbyist in the State of Illinois. In 2008, Taylor created his own independent consulting company. Since then he has lobbied on behalf of a wide and diverse groups of clients including various COG’s and local governments, as well as numerous corporations, and trade associations.
Taylor frequently travels across the state to take part in speaking engagements to educate local government officials on the processes of state government. Moreover, he regularly serves as lead negotiator on a host of legislative issues including; educational, energy, environmental, labor relations, pensions, property taxes, telecommunications, and zoning. In addition, he often contributes publications on the legislative process and administrative rules.
His extensive statehouse experience includes the James H. Dunn Jr. Memorial Fellowship where he worked in the Governor’s legislative affairs division. As well as internships with Illinois Senate President Emil Jones, serving on the Revenue Committee, with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, where he handled both state and federal issues as a legislative liaison, and in the office of Secretary of State Jesse White as Assistant to the Deputy Director of Physical Services.
He attended Morehouse College before graduating from Pomona College with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics.
