Jeff Lee is the Business Development Director at Nautilus Solar Energy, a community solar-focused Independent Power Producer established in 2008. In his role, he collaborates with project developers across the US for takeout, EPC, offtake, and development capital partnerships. With 18 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, he began his career in thin film PV engineering, international business development, and US strategic development at Solyndra, where he worked for five years.

Since then, his experience has spanned multiple market verticals and segments, from residential financing to utility-scale module sales and project development, as well as community solar project development and acquisitions. His experience includes working at both startups and multi-national companies such as Hanwha/Q-Cells and Trina Solar. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA and MS Engineering from San Jose State University, and resides in San Jose, California
